This music is a mix of saxophone improvisations by Homei YANAGAWA and electronic sounds by Hitoshi NAGASAKA. This music is based on the story of the ancient Chinese philosopher Zhuang Zi (荘子)'s "Dream of Butterfly（胡蝶の夢, Kocho no Yume）". A mysterious sound invites you to a dream.


Dream of Butterfly （胡蝶の夢）

In the past, I was turned into a butterfly in my dream. I was just like a butterfly, flitting flutteringly. Naturally, I enjoyed and released myself from the heart. I forgot that I had originally been Zhuang Zi.
Suddenly, I was woken up in surprise to find that I was exactly Zhuang Zi myself. However, I couldn't know whether I had been a butterfly in my dream, or a butterfly had been Zhuang Zi in its dream. Nevertheless, there must be a certain border between Zhuang Zi and the butterfly. This is, what we call, the "transience".
